The Tim Bacon Foundation is a grant-giving charity focused on supporting people living with cancer. Through fundraising events, partnerships, and public awareness campaigns, the foundation backs cancer research, treatment, and support services across the UK.
Tim was Dave’s boss, mentor, and friend for over 20 years during their time together at Living Ventures. When Tim sadly passed away, his business partner Jeremy and Dave came together to set up the foundation in his honour.
The mission was simple: raise money, raise awareness, and make a real impact for those affected by cancer. For everyone who worked at Living Ventures, this cause is deeply personal – and the foundation has become a way to carry Tim’s legacy forward.
Dave plays an active role as both a trustee and director of the foundation, helping shape its strategy and guide the work it funds.
